Car accident leaves bystander with injuries

On Behalf of | Jan 24, 2018 | Firm News, Personal Injury |

For many Missouri residents, the thought of being injured while minding their own business seems a bit excessive and unlikely. Most people associate accidents and injuries with actions involving their participation, negligence, distraction or confusion. However, it is not unheard of for people to be the victims of unforeseen accidents that trigger a series of unanticipated events. Sometimes, these unlikely situations can create chaos and result in the injury of innocent bystanders.

This is what happened in a recent accident that occurred in central Las Vegas resulting in the injury of a bystander. A vehicle traveling near Arville Street crashed into a 7-11 convenience store for an unknown reason. A woman who was in the store at the time of the collision was injured when the impact of the crash caused a poker machine to fall on top of her. Initial reports suggested the woman suffered minor injuries. She also had what appeared to be a broken leg. Authorities were called to the scene and began an investigation into the cause of the accident. The condition of the driver is currently unknown. No other details are currently available.

If people have suffered a personal injury because of the negligence of others, they may wish to hire an attorney to help them through the legal process of creating a case. A knowledgeable legal professional has the tools and experience to facilitate the legalities of seeking compensatory damages. Additionally, an attorney’s guidance may allow the victim more time to focus on his or her recovery and healing.
