Tim Ricker is a civil litigation attorney at Hall Ansley with 15 years of experience representing employees, injured people, and municipalities. His practice focuses on employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, and § 1983 claims. He also regularly handles personal injury, medical negligence, and municipal liability cases.
Tim’s practice is grounded in careful case evaluation, direct client communication, and trial preparation from the beginning of the case. Whether representing an employee, an injured person, or a municipality, he focuses on identifying the issues that matter, developing the evidence, and positioning the case for the best available outcome.
Tim represents clients through all stages of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, dispositive motions, and trial. He prepares each case with an eye toward trial, while also working with clients to evaluate risk, develop strategy, and pursue practical resolution when appropriate.
Tim graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2009. In law school, he served as an Articles Editor for the UMKC Law Review and as a pro se law clerk for the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
