Fortunately, there are precautions you can take to reduce your chances of being the victim of one of the dangers mentioned above. When working at height, personal safety equipment should always be worn. When working with or near electricity, be sure you understand the proper distance you should maintain between yourself and the live wires. If you are working around trenches, they should be properly shored or benched to provide stability. If you are working on a construction site where heavy objects are being moved, wear visible clothing and never stand beneath an area where an object is being moved.
